Bradford is the founder and CEO of Merlon Intelligence, Inc. He is also a founding partner at DCVC, a leading machine learning and big data venture capital fund. Bradford has founded two machine learning startups since 2009. Prismatic used machine learning for personalized content ranking and natural language processing for topic classification. Flightcaster used machine learning to predict the real-time state of the global air traffic network, using FAA, carrier and weather data.
Bradford has been a hedge fund investor since 2002, starting with statistical value and momentum strategies at O’Higgins Asset Management, and a venture investor since 2010 as a founding partner of Data Collective.
He has spent 7 years building statistical trading strategies, 6 years building machine learning startups and 8 years on systems engineering, including 2 years working on distributed systems at Google.
Bradford studied Computer Engineering and Finance at Virginia Tech, and Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley.
As Head of Marketing at Merlon Intelligence, Jason is responsible for building the company’s global brand, creating awareness for its solutions, and overseeing the go-to-market execution. Jason previously oversaw branding, public relations, and communications at Digital Reasoning, a leader in providing Artificial Intelligence solutions for financial services, healthcare, and government. Also, Jason retired from the U.S. Army after serving on Active Duty and in the U.S. Army Reserves for nearly 23 years in various Military Intelligence and Public Affairs positions, including several senior roles in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Jason received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of the South (Sewanee) and graduated from both the Defense Information School (Ft. Meade) and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
Lindsay oversees customer success at Merlon Intelligence, and works closely with our customers to align their organizational business and product priorities and develop the strategic and operational plans to enable future adoption and growth of our product suite.
Most recently Lindsay was a Technology Strategy Manager at Accenture where she led strategy consulting teams to identify new technology innovations aimed to reduce costs and drive business value for Fortune 500 high-tech, media, and financial services companies. Prior to Accenture, Lindsay worked in AI research at the National Science Foundation applying machine learning to medical imaging diagnostics targeted to streamline patient timeline to diagnosis.
Outside of work, Lindsay has headed pro-bono technology consulting initiatives with Dress for Success Worldwide and Northern NJ, and is an active member and mentor to local nonprofits advocating for diversity in tech.
Lindsay earned her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Syracuse University.
Alex oversees growth in Merlon Intelligence’s business. He focuses on building relationships and strategies that match the capabilities of Merlon with the needs of its customers. Previously, Alex was one of the U.S. Government leads of Palantir, one of the largest privately-held start-ups (valued at $20B), where he oversaw Strategic Partnerships over a nine-figure portfolio and helped regulators, statisticians, and lawyers make sense of massive amounts of data. Before Palantir, Alex worked at Cornerstone Research, a leading economic litigation consulting firm, where he helped banks and governments understand risk and potential liabilities from market activity.
Alex’s graduate educational background is in Computer Science and Machine Learning from Georgia Tech; his undergraduate education is in Economics and Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University, where he was a Truman Scholar and served on the Board of Trustees.
As a trusted strategic advisor at Merlon Intelligence, Stephen leverages his extensive industry experience to influence the company’s solution direction, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy. Stephen previously ran product strategy for Mantas, a leading financial crimes and compliance solutions company which was acquired by Oracle, and he was also in change of product marketing for Digital Reasoning, a leader in AI enabled solutions. With 25 years’ experience within the financial services industry, Stephen also held leading technology and product positions at Deutsche Bank, JPMC and CDC Capital where he helped automate front office trading and back office compliance functions.
