The team at Merlon Intelligence is that rare concoction, a blend of seemingly mismatched parts, that brought together are creating something previously considered impossible. Bradford has spent 7 years building statistical trading strategies, 6 years building machine learning startups and 8 years on systems engineering, including 2 years working on distributed systems at Google. He is also a founding partner at DCVC, a machine learning and big data VC fund and founder of two machine learning startups.
Alex is a former Palantir Technologies U.S. Government Lead, where he oversaw P&L on multiple existing and growing accounts. Prior to that, he delivered economic and financial analysis to attorneys involved in commercial litigation and regulatory proceedings at Cornerstone Research.
Ondrej is a product manager overseeing payments filtering, adverse media and list screening tools. He’s a serial entrepreneur and founded companies like Cloudo (sold to Atlassian in 2017), Cloud Fender, Pinvit and an UX studio Lighting Beetle.
Petr joined Merlon from a London based market research company GWI, where he scaled the team from 1 to 80 as its CTO. Petr holds a Bc. degree in Information Technology from Brno University.
Dušan leads the ML team in the Merlon Intelligence. He earned his Ph.D. in self-organized neural networks and before joining CEAi, he participated on general artificial intelligence research (GoodAI) and deep learning-based sound processing (Neuron Soundware). He's a biker, skier and AI optimist.
Nikhil works across Merlon's machine learning and business development functions. Prior to joining Merlon, Nikhil was a Senior Data Scientist at New York based AI startup x.ai for 4+ years. As the first data scientist hired by the founders of x.ai, he was a key contributor in developing a system to extract meaning from unstructured email conversation text by applying Natural Language Processing. He holds a master's degree in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from Columbia University.
Prior to his role as CMO at Kasisto, Stephen ran product strategy for Mantas, a leading financial crimes and compliance solutions company which was acquired by Oracle, and he was also in charge of product marketing for Digital Reasoning. With 25 years’ experience within the financial services industry, Stephen also held leading technology and product positions at Deutsche Bank, JPMC and CDC Capital.
Mr. Muckenfuss has more than 40 years of senior experience in the financial services industry, including 33 years as partner at Gibson Dunn, and public service as Senior Deputy Comptroller of the OCC and as Counsel to the Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Michael Marcus is the founder of Marcus Partners, LLC, a strategic advisory firm to major retail financial services organizations. He is a Senior Advisor to The Boston Consulting Group, and to Argus Information and Advisory Services (a Verisk company).
Neal Wolin is currently a senior counselor at The Brunswick Group; an equity partner at Data Collective Venture Capital and a board partner at the Social + Capital Partnership. He is also an advisor to Nyca Partners, a venture capital and advisory firm focused on financial technology.
